Privacy Policy
When using cookies to process personal data (such as websites visited, IP addresses, cookie content, referrer URL, click and surf behaviour and device details), M.I.D.D- Maschinenhandling GmbH complies with the applicable data protection laws.
Server log files
You can visit our website without providing any personal information. Every time you access our website, usage data is transmitted by your Internet browser and stored in log data (server log files). This stored data includes, for example, the name of the page accessed, the date and time of access, the amount of data transferred and the requesting provider. This data is used exclusively to ensure the trouble-free operation of our website and to improve our services. It is not possible to assign this data to a specific person.
Collection and processing when using the contact form
When you use the contact form, we only collect your personal data (name, e-mail address, message text) to the extent that you have provided. The data processing serves the purpose of establishing contact. By sending your message, you consent to the processing of the transmitted data. The processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR with your consent.
You can revoke your consent at any time by notifying us without affecting the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation. We will only use your e-mail address to process your enquiry. Your data will then be deleted unless you have consented to further processing and use.
Use of Google reCAPTCHA
We use the reCAPTCHA service of Google Inc (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; ‘Google’) on our website. The query serves the purpose of distinguishing whether the input is made by a human or by automated, machine processing. The query includes sending the IP address and any other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service to Google. For this purpose, your input is transmitted to Google and used there. However, your IP address will be shortened by Google beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area.
Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to analyse your use of this service. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of reCaptcha will not be merged with other Google data. Your data may also be transmitted to the USA. An adequacy decision by the European Commission, the ‘Privacy Shield’, is in place for data transfers to the USA. Google participates in the ‘Privacy Shield’ and has submitted to the requirements.
By clicking on the query, you consent to the processing of your data. The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR with your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. You can find more information about Google reCAPTCHA and the associated privacy policy at Google Technologies
Use of the e-mail address for sending newsletters
We use your e-mail address independently of the contract processing exclusively for our own advertising purposes for sending newsletters, provided you have expressly consented to this. The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR with your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by using the corresponding link in the newsletter or by notifying us. Your e-mail address will then be removed from the mailing list.
Your data will be passed on to a service provider for e-mail marketing as part of order processing. Your data will not be passed on to other third parties.
Use of the e-mail address for sending direct advertising
We use your e-mail address, which we have received as part of the sale of a product or service, for the electronic transmission of advertising for our own goods or services that are similar to those that you have already purchased from us, unless you have objected to this use.
The provision of the e-mail address is necessary for the conclusion of the contract. Failure to provide it means that no contract can be concluded. The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR from the legitimate interest in direct advertising.
You can object to this use of your e-mail address at any time by notifying us. The contact details for exercising your objection can be found in the legal notice. You can also use the link provided for this purpose in the advertising e-mail. This will not incur any costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic tariffs.
Forwarding the e-mail address to shipping companies for information on the shipping status
We will pass on your e-mail address to the transport company as part of the contract processing if you have expressly consented to this during the ordering process. The purpose of forwarding this information is to inform you of the dispatch status by e-mail.
The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR with your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by notifying us or the transport company without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Use of Google Analytics
We use the web analysis service Google Analytics from Google Inc (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; ‘Google’) on our website. The purpose of data processing is to analyse this website and its visitors. For this purpose, Google will use the information obtained on behalf of the operator of this website to analyse your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
Google Analytics uses cookies that enable your use of the website to be analysed. The information generated by the cookies about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. IP anonymisation is activated on this website. This means that your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Your data may be transmitted to the USA. You can find more information on terms of use and data protection under Terms of Use for Google Analytics or under Privacy Policy.
Use of social plug-ins by means of the ‘2-click solution’
We use social network plug-ins on our website. By means of the standard integration of plug-ins, a link is established between your computer and the servers of the social network provider when you access the pages of our website that contain such a plug-in, and the plug-in is displayed on the page by notifying your browser. Both your IP address and the information about which of our pages you have visited are transmitted to the provider servers.
This applies regardless of whether you are registered or logged in to the social network. Transmission also takes place for users who are not registered or not logged in. If you are also logged into the Facebook social network, this information is assigned to your personal user account. When using the plug-in functions (e.g. by clicking the button), this information is also assigned to your user account, which you can only prevent by logging out before using the plug-in. To ensure that you retain control over your data, we have decided to initially deactivate the corresponding button.
You can recognise this by the greyed-out button. Without your express consent - in the form of activating the button - no link to the social network server will be established and consequently no data will be transmitted. Only when you activate the button will it become active (highlighted in colour) and a direct connection to the social network's servers will be established. By activating the button, you consent to the transfer of your data to the respective provider of the social network. Among other things, your IP address and information about which of our pages you have visited will be transmitted. If you are connected to one or more of your social network accounts at the same time, the information collected will also be assigned to your corresponding profiles. You can only prevent this assignment by logging out of your user accounts with the social networks before visiting our website and before activating the buttons. The social networks listed below are integrated using the ‘2-click function’.
For more information on the scope and purpose of the collection and use of the data and your rights and options for protecting your privacy in this regard, please refer to the linked data protection notices of the providers. Use of GoogleMaps
We use the function for embedding GoogleMaps maps from Google Inc (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; ‘Google’) on our website. The function enables the visual display of geographical information and interactive maps.
Google also collects, processes and uses the data of visitors to the pages when they access the pages in which GoogleMaps maps are integrated. Further information on the collection and use of data by Google can be found in Google's privacy policy under Google Privacy Policy. There you also have the option of changing your settings in the data protection centre so that you can manage and protect your data processed by Google. Your data may also be transferred to the USA. The European Commission has issued an adequacy decision for data transfers to the USA.
You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning you which is based on Art. 6 (1) f GDPR.
To do this, you must switch off the JavaScript application in your browser. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website, such as the interactive map display, to their full extent.
Duration of storage
Once the contract has been fully processed, the data will initially be stored for the duration of the warranty period, then in accordance with statutory retention periods, in particular under tax and commercial law, and then deleted after expiry of the period, unless you have consented to further processing and use.
Rights of the data subject
If the legal requirements are met, you have the following rights in accordance with Art. 15 to 20 GDPR: Right to information, to rectification, to erasure, to restriction of processing, to data portability.
In accordance with Art. 21 (1) GDPR, you also have the right to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) f GDPR and to processing for the purposes of direct marketing. Please contact us if you wish.
You can find the contact details in our Legal Notice.
